Financial Services
Financial Services is responsible for the provision of financial services to the University and for the accurate and timely reporting on such matters, through the Chief Financial Officer, to Council.
Financial Services provides the following services:
Providing decision support for analysis and management of the University's financial resources;
Maintaining financial controls;
Providing financial reporting; and
Providing a financial transaction processing service.
Financial Services comprises the following three sections, each headed by an Associate Director:
- Transaction Services, which undertakes taxation (Australian and International), management of financial policies and procedures and provides a financial transaction processing service for the University.
- Client Services, which
provides advice on resource allocation (including management reporting),
funding strategies, statutory reporting and longer term strategic financial planning.
- Corporate Services, which has responsibility for the University's budget planning, the University's financial systems and the financial aspects of student fees.
